Vale of White Horse Gliding Centre near Shrivenham, Oxfordshire. 

The Flying Pig Festival is a small, family friendly, charity music festival which takes place on the airfield and premises of the Vale of White Horse Gliding Centre near Shrivenham, Oxfordshire. 

It will be supporting registered charities this year and they are National Autistic Society  (national charity) The Vicountess Barrington's Trust Memorial Hall Fund and Freya Beya ,"providing special needs school with music". (local charites).

Two thousand fourteen, will be the seventh year a music event has taken place on this site. 

There will be an inexpensive camp site and many visitors will be staying for the entire weekend.

We run our own bar and have lager / cider chiller pumps, a chill cabinet and numerous tilt racks for the bitter.

The event will take place over three days in September opening from Friday the 12th in mid afternoon with live music from about 17:00 until midnight.

On Saturday site opens at 13:00 and music will run until midnight and on again on Sunday from midday until about 18:00.  The site closes at 19:30 Sunday.

Featured will be about 25 or more bands on two stages throughout the event.  As it is a charity event none of the bands, staff or organisers are paid apart from the security and some bar staff.  Most of the sound, stage and lighting equipment is also donated.
